Two buildings side by side:
ReplyDelete1) 1881 Heritage was the headquarters of the Hong Kong Marine Police from the 1880s to 1996. The buildings' unique Victorian architecture epitomizes its rich colonial background. Except for the Former Fire Station, the Former Marine Police Headquarters Main Building, Former Stable Block, Former Time Ball Tower were declared monuments by the Antiquities and Monuments Office in 1994, as proof of their historical significance.
2) 1 Peking Road is a solar powered high tech skyscraper. A bit underrated in comparison to the other iconic buildings of HK.
I think this shot captures the spirit of Hong Kong well. It's a place where tradition meets bleeding edge tech.
