Monarch butterfly lives less than two months and it migrates all its life. This migration takes place over 5 generations and thousands of miles. Once the destination is reached Monarchs give birth to a new generation. But this new one is different. It is a super generation which lives 5 times longer than a regular monarch and its destined to bring the butterflies back to the first origin. And the cycle starts all over again.
