Mom Luang Tridhosyuth Devakul better known simply as Mom Tri, has been a pioneer in the development of Phuket as a premier travel destination, not only for tourists but also for people seeking a permanent residence on this alluring island in the Andaman Sea off Thailand's southern coast.
ReplyDeleteHarvard-educated Mom Tri's first undertaking was the Club Med on Kata Beach back in the 1980s. He also built a house for himself on a hillside between Kata and Kata Noi, which started out as a simple thatched-roof bungalow and over the years, expanded into a collection of buildings that now comprise Mom Tri's Villa Royale, one of Phuket's most beautiful and exclusive boutique hotels. This is one of those early buildings.
